Let it Flow – Presque Isle, Lake Erie
Last year for my birthday I took a day trip to Lake Erie. The main reason that we ended up going there was because there are a couple of dog friendly beaches which means that Roxy could spend the day with me and that’s always something that I want to be possible. We went, had a great time, and ever since I’ve been thinking about going back.
Darrin and I pick a few goals for each season throughout the year that we want to do together. Going to Erie was one of them for this past summer.
Once the end of August gets here I am in panic mode and try to get everything done that I want to do before the snow flies again. I mean, we still have a while for that (hopefully) but there are things that I want to do when it’s warmer than 50 degrees out and going to the lake is one of those things.

Traveling Tips For Vegan & Healthy Eaters
At this point in my life I’ve done quite a bit of vegan traveling. It’s something that I don’t think twice about now. Practice makes perfect and it’s basically become second nature. But, as a new vegan or even a new traveler I understand how questions and concerns can arise and make you kind of […]

Shenandoah National Park – The Most Magical Place
I left a little piece of myself in Shenandoah this year. Not physically, but emotionally. That place is magic. Seriously; pure magic. It is so beautiful that it doesn’t even seem real. After leaving the beach we drove about 4 hours to western Virginia. The plan was to travel part of the Blue Ridge Parkway […]

Cherry Springs State Park
When adventure calls, you go. Well that’s what I do. It wasn’t always that way though. Excuses are easy to make and comfort zones are hard to break. You just have to be aware of what you truly want. You have to recognize the type of life that you really want to live. So, when […]

Blackhand Gorge Nature Preserve – Heath, Ohio
This past weekend I went on a trip to Ohio to visit Darrin. He’s been working out there for a few months now and I haven’t been to visit yet. I had plans to go to a vegan meet up picnic in Pittsburgh on Saturday. I figured that I’d just double the trip and go […]

Shenandoah National Park ~ Vacation Post 2
Welcome back to the second portion of my vacation adventures! I’m currently laying in bed with a nasty cold. A cold in the summer, seriously?! Ugh. I haven’t been sick for a very long time so I’m trying to handle this as well as possible. But it’s frustrating! Especially while going through all of my […]

Back From An Unexpected Hiatus
It’s been two weeks since I’ve posted on here and that is so crazy to me! I think it’s the longest absence I’ve had. Crazy! I’ve been so busy that there are days that I don’t even open up my computer. If you know me then you understand how bizarre this actually is. I feel […]
