Easy Chocolate Banana Breakfast Smoothie – Vegan


I was on a strict chocolate diet last month. It all happened accidentally. But it still happened. And it all left me feeling not so great.

I decided that it would probably be best to not eat 10 pounds of chocolate every week. Sure, that’s an exaggeration but not by much. 

That doesn’t mean that I planned to cut out all chocolate out of my life. No way. It’s all about balance and that balance for me right now is chocolate banana breakfast smoothies.

Let’s get to it.


CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

Serves 1-2

2 frozen bananas
1 fresh banana
1/2 cup almond milk
2 teaspoons carob powder
1 teaspoon maca powder

Add everything to blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glass and top with cinnamon, granola, and cacao nibs. Serve, enjoy!

  1. Yum! I’ve just discovered recently I live carob and have been playing with quantities in smoothies. Love the addition of the maca. Cant wait to try 🙂
