Memorial Day weekend is almost over and that means it’s pretty much summer from this point on.
I figured that we could kick off the unofficial start of summer with a strawberry lemonade smoothie.
Cool, refreshing, and thirst quenching.
Simple ingredients and very little prep time. What more could you ask for?!
Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie
1 cup strawberries
1 cup ice
1/2 cup coconut water
Juice of 1 lemon
1-2 tablespoon maple syrup (optional*)
Add ingredients to blender. Blend. Serve, enjoy!
*If you like a sweeter lemonade, adding the maple syrup will do the trick. I recommend blending without sweetener first and adding in as tastes desires.
