Hello! I’ve had a frustrating blogger day today. Yes, it happens! It’s not all sunshine and cupcakes around here. Although that would be nice, right? I had big plans for a recipe today but I didn’t have all of the ingredients that I thought I had. So it’ll be coming sometime in the future! After realizing that I made something else to share but it didn’t quite work out how I would have liked. Strike two! After that I decided to just make dinner and try again tomorrow. Well dinner turned into something magical that I am cursing myself for not taking photos with my camera. I snapped these quickly with my iPhone before chowing down. Then I realized that this was something special and needed to be shared with the world. So I figured that I’d share it anyways and update you a little bit on what’s next here on Create N Plate.
The other day at work I was writing down a bunch of ideas I had to share with you all. The goal is the get out as much content as possible. I created a relaxed schedule that we can all follow and know what to expect. It’s not going to be strict at all. But it’ll bring more structure which I feel like would be nice! Expect more recipes, What I Ate Wednesday’s, Fitness Friday’s, and a 4 week series about finding balance in life. The recipes are pretty self explanatory and so are the What I Ate Wednesdays. But Fitness Friday’s are new! Way back in the beginning of this blog I did Fitness Friday’s. I think that the occasional fitness post would be fun and I’d love to learn more about the workouts that you guys do and enjoy! I also am going to begin a 4 week series about finding balance. I have been having issues with a healthy balance in life and am on the path to achieving the balance that I’m looking for. I know that a lot of you guys struggle with this as well which is why I’ll be sharing 4 different areas in life that are best enjoyed with a healthy amount of balance. Stay tuned for it!

Okay! Enough rambling catching up. Time for some cinnamon curry heaven!
Cinnamon Curry Wraps
makes 3 small wraps
1/4 cup cooked black beans
1/4 cup cooked chickpeas
1/4 cup cooke rice of choice
Hummus of choice
3 fajita sized wraps
Combine beans, chickpeas, rice, curry powder, turmeric, paprika, and onion powder together in a large bowl. I didn’t measure any of the seasonings. Just leave your tastebuds be your guide! Mix together and set aside. Spread hummus on the wraps and divide the chickpeas, rice, and bean mixture onto the wraps. Top with broccoli and carrots or veggies of your choice. Drizzle tahini on top of wraps and sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve, enjoy!
